The Vision

With over 10 years of established expertise in buying, renting, and developing property in Accra, Ghana, Aknan Construction required a digital presence that matched their real-world authority. The objective was to architect a premium, high-fidelity portfolio to showcase complex architectural projects to high-net-worth investors and potential buyers.

Media & Performance Engineering

Real estate and construction portfolios are inherently heavy on visual assets, which traditionally destroys page load speeds and damages SEO rankings. To solve this, performance was treated as a core feature:

• Next-Gen Compression: All high-resolution architectural photography was processed and delivered exclusively via the WebP image format. This mathematically reduced image payloads by up to 75% compared to standard JPEGs, without any loss in visual fidelity.
• Core Web Vitals Optimization: By strictly defining aspect ratios and implementing native lazy loading, we eliminated Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), ensuring the UI remains perfectly stable as heavy visual assets enter the viewport.

The UI/UX Strategy

Because the primary goal was brand authority rather than complex database filtering, the interface was designed with a strict “Wabi-Sabi” minimalist approach:

• Visual Hierarchy: Generous whitespace and stark typography guide the user’s eye directly to the project photography.
• Conversion Focused: The user flow is architected to transition seamlessly from exploring development galleries directly into secure, high-intent lead generation forms for corporate partnerships and property inquiries.
