Any Canadian business with anywhere from a few staff to a few hundred, such as contractors, clinics, professional offices, retailers, manufacturers and B2B companies. You don't need a technical person on your team. I'll explain things in plain English and tell you when you don't need custom work at all.
With an agency, you usually talk to an account manager who talks to a developer. With me, you talk to the person writing the code, so decisions are quick and nothing gets lost in between.
An agency is still the better fit if you need a full team for branding, photo shoots and ongoing ad management. If a project grows beyond what one person should handle, I bring in trusted developers I've vetted, and I stay responsible for the quality.
